I have practiced as a licensed psychologist in the state of Oregon since 2014. I graduated from Adler University in Chicago, Illinois, a program focusing on social justice in psychology. My specialty areas include depression, anxiety, trauma, family dynamics, infertility, and identity development. I warmly welcome the LGBT community and have experience in working through the coming out process, letters for gender affirming surgery, and relationship dynamics. I work with adults 18 and up.
I use a psychodynamic perspective in therapy, meaning that I am skilled in helping my clients discover connections between past events and current behaviors. In this way we can work toward understanding this link, and undo the traps laid by our past. I also employ strategies from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, research in trauma and neuropsychology, and Existential/Humanistic therapeutic approaches.

I am a licensed psychologist in Oregon specializing in psychodynamic psychotherapy. This approach is evidence-based and offers a comprehensive, in-depth explanation of being human: why we do what we do; why we want what we desire; and how we become the people we become. Symptoms such as inhibitions, depression, and anxiety often have roots that go deeper than normal awareness can reach, which is how therapy can be beneficial. Through a safe and trusting therapy relationship, we can discover paths toward the emotional freedom necessary to make substantive, lasting changes, and heal from past traumas.
My specialty areas include depression, anxiety, trauma, family dynamics, relational pain, distressing emotions, infertility, life transitions, and identity development. I strive to create a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental therapy approach where meaningful and lasting change is possible. If you are considering therapy, I encourage you to schedule an initial consultation where we can identify areas of strength as well as areas of desired improvement. I tailor treatment to your unique needs and focus on generating positive change through the therapy relationship. I welcome the LGBTQ+ community, and I work primarily with adults ages 18+.

I am a licensed psychologist in Oregon and Washington. I primarily work with children, adolescents, and families and also have experience working with young adults. Before coming to Mangata, I worked in medical hospitals, treating children, adolescents, and families in managing and coping with pediatric health conditions and traumas. It is a joy to help youth understand the way that the mind and the body are connected and to learn skills that will assist in their overall wellness. I also have experience working with gender expansive youth and enjoy being a part of the gender journey with families.
I prioritize connection and bringing myself into the room in order to facilitate comfort and rapport with my clients. I adapt how I work with clients based upon their age/developmental level and personality. I primarily utilize cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), behavior therapy (BT), and motivational interviewing (MI) techniques in session. I welcome clients with anxiety, depression, functional symptoms, sleep difficulties, behavior problems, gender fluidity, and medical illnesses to see if, together, we can promote your wellness.
I am a licensed psychologist with experience working in a variety of settings including community mental health, university counseling, medical clinics, and group practices. My approach is one of genuineness, empathy, and a non-judgmental stance that allows a safe, trusting relationship to develop over time.

My approach is one of genuineness, empathy, and a non-judgmental stance that allows a safe, trusting relationship to develop over time.
I enjoy working with individuals who are seeking support with concerns such as self-esteem, family dynamics, trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and identity development. I am an LGBTQIA+ affirming provider and, in particular, have considerable experience providing gender affirming care.
I primarily practice from a Relational Psychodynamic or Interpersonal lens, but I incorporate interventions from a variety of theoretical orientations to tailor my approach to align with the unique needs and personality of each individual.
I enjoy working collaboratively. At times, this may mean working together to find relief from symptoms or working towards gaining a better understanding of patterns which have developed through the years, are rooted in past experiences, and are replaying in the present. My goal is to provide a space in which you can feel safe freely exploring all aspects of yourself and openly expressing thoughts, emotions, memories, fantasies, dreams, conflicts, and whatever else you may desire. Ultimately, I will invite you to use the time and space as you would like and at a pace that feels right for you.
I primarily work with adults ages 18+.

I am a licensed psychologist in the state of Oregon and provide depth-oriented psychotherapy to individuals from adolescence through adulthood. My areas of clinical interest and experience include depression and anxiety, trauma, dissociative disorders, identity development, life transitions, family of origin concerns, interpersonal and relational concerns, grief/loss, and neurodivergent-affirming care, particularly for young adults or adults on a journey of being diagnosed with neurodivergent conditions later in life, such as ADHD or Autism.
My therapy approach is rooted in contemporary psychodynamic theory, interwoven with mind-body awareness and a trauma-informed lens. I warmly welcome the LGBTQ+ community and seek to meet you wherever you may be at in understanding yourself or your identities. I strive to be a co-creator, advocate, and vision-holder along-side you in your therapy process, using my dynamic methodology to help you better understand the history and function of your concerns and allow for the emergence of new and expansive ways of connecting with yourself and others.

I offer individual therapy and psychological assessment for adults. I especially enjoy working with individuals on concerns like single event or complex trauma, religious trauma, childhood neglect, identity development, life transitions, family of origin concerns, interpersonal and relational concerns, and grief/loss. I work primarily from a trauma-informed humanistic and feministic framework while incorporating aspects of psychodynamic theory, polyvagal theory, self-compassion work, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as needed to help you meet your therapeutic goals. My first priority is to build a supportive, collaborative, and empowering relationship as the foundation for all of our clinical work. I also strive to incorporate an awareness of the impact of context – the systems and culture in which we live and move – and how it impacts our mental health and functioning. From there, we explore aspects of your identity and experience in order to increase your understanding of yourself and others, build on your strengths, and work practically to manage any symptoms.
