I have practiced as a licensed psychologist in the state of Oregon since 2014. I graduated from Adler University in Chicago, Illinois, a program focusing on social justice in psychology. My specialty areas include depression, anxiety, trauma, family dynamics, infertility, and identity development. I warmly welcome the LGBT community and have experience in working through the coming out process, letters for gender affirming surgery, and relationship dynamics. I work with adults 18 and up.
I use a psychodynamic perspective in therapy, meaning that I am skilled in helping my clients discover connections between past events and current behaviors. In this way we can work toward understanding this link, and undo the traps laid by our past. I also employ strategies from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, research in trauma and neuropsychology, and Existential/Humanistic therapeutic approaches.

I am a licensed psychologist with an educational emphasis in health psychology. Historically, I trained alongside certified nurse-midwives and family practice practitioners, primarily in Migrant Farm Worker clinics. I have specialized interest and experience in working with anxiety, depression, identity development, and adjustment, as well as gender-inclusive health issues across the lifespan, including perinatal care, infertility and pregnancy loss, birth trauma, reproductive health disorders (Endometriosis, PCOS, pelvic pain, etc.), and menopause.

I am a licensed psychologist in Oregon specializing in psychodynamic psychotherapy. This approach is evidence-based and offers a comprehensive, in-depth explanation of being human: why we do what we do; why we want what we desire; and how we become the people we become. Symptoms such as inhibitions, depression, and anxiety often have roots that go deeper than normal awareness can reach, which is how therapy can be beneficial. Through a safe and trusting therapy relationship, we can discover paths toward the emotional freedom necessary to make substantive, lasting changes, and heal from past traumas.
My specialty areas include depression, anxiety, trauma, family dynamics, relational pain, distressing emotions, infertility, life transitions, and identity development. I strive to create a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental therapy approach where meaningful and lasting change is possible. If you are considering therapy, I encourage you to schedule an initial consultation where we can identify areas of strength as well as areas of desired improvement. I tailor treatment to your unique needs and focus on generating positive change through the therapy relationship. I welcome the LGBTQ+ community, and I work primarily with adults ages 18+.
